The Ministers in Training (MIT) Program of Eastern Star Church (ESC) is dedicated to developing church members who are called to a vocation in ministry through an intensive and extensive preaching and teaching training program. ESC believes in the value of all spiritual gifts and that spiritual gifts are given for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ and are given without regard to ethnicity, social class or gender. Eastern Star Church is the place where Jesus is exalted and the Word is explained. One church in three locations in Fishers and Indianapolis, Indiana, ESC strives to maintain its commitment to the great commission instituted by Jesus Christ. Focused on ministering to the unsaved and nurturing and developing those that are saved (Matthew 28:18-20), its mission of evangelism and discipleship demonstrates the love of Christ through service to others in our community and throughout the world.
