Assistant Professor; Executive Director of Global Engagement

Jim serves as the chief international officer for the residential campus of IWU and provides visionary, strategic, and innovative academic leadership for the centers, institutes, and departments that comprise the Global Engagement Office. Jim also teaches for the School of Theology and Ministry and Wesley Seminary.

Ministerial and Professional Background

Jim served in local church and parachurch ministry prior to joining that faculty of IWU in 2006. His intercultural experience includes growing up in Haiti and leading numerous short-term international ministry trips to numerous locations around the world.

Jim lives in Marion, IN with his wife, Emily, and their two children, Silas and Aynsley
