Rev. Christy Lipscomb

Rev. Christy Lipscomb is founding co-pastor of City Life Church, a Wesleyan, multicultural, inner-city church in Grand Rapids, MI. Rev. Lipscomb is a graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary (M.Div.) and of Indiana Wesleyan University, and is an ordained minister in The Wesleyan Church.

Rev. Lipscomb and her husband, Rev. Adam Lipscomb (also an ordained Wesleyan minister), planted City Life Church in 2005. The church is a cross-section of ethnicities, cultures, and economic levels. Homeless persons worship and serve alongside stable, middle class families. Many recovering drug addicts call City Life their home church.

Rev. Lipscomb also serves as an Assistant District Superintendent for The West Michigan District of The Wesleyan Church.

The Lipscombs have two young sons, Jude, and Elijah.
