    Aron Willis was brought up in a Wesleyan pastoral home, converted at the age of 15 and called into ministry a short time later.

    He is the recipient of the following educational degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Religion from Frankfort Pilgrim College, Frankfort, Indiana, in 1971; a Master of Divinity from Asbury Seminary, Wilmore, Kentucky, in 1974; and a Doctorate of Ministry from Asbury Seminary in 1991.

    Pastoral service spanning thirty-plus years encompasses tenures in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Ohio and North Carolina. His most recent pastoral service was at High Point, North Carolina First Wesleyan Church. Under his leadership the church purchased a 300,000 square foot mall and renovated the facilities into a regional ministry center.

    His lifelong passion has been preaching. He began pulpit supply and serving as a youth evangelist at age 15, was selected by his college graduating class as the Baccalaureate speaker, elected as Class Chaplin his first year in seminary and has given the past forty-plus years proclaiming Christ. Venues of speaking have taken him to numerous countries speaking to nationals and missionaries. He also has served as featured speaker at camps, ministry retreats, local church renewals and various other settings.

    He and his wife have two adult children and four grandchildren. Dr. Willis and Sheryl, his wife, reside in Marion, Indiana where he began serving in 2006 as the District Superintendent of the Indiana North District of The Wesleyan Church.
