MA in Ministry - Leadership
IN HONOR OF REV. DR. JOHN PERKINS
Wesley Seminary is excited to announce a new way to participate in seminary education. Beginning in March, 2018, three one-week residential courses will be taught in California, including the first on the Campus of Patten University in Oakland, CA. Another course will visit with Rev. Perkins in Mississippi. The other courses in the program will be taught through eight-week online courses. Wesley Seminary’s Master of Arts (MA) is a streamlined 36 hour online program designed to be done “on the run” while you are serving or volunteering in ministry. The Leadership emphasis taught through this partnership will be contextualized for ministry work in multicultural settings. This highly practical program designed to challenge you to tune-up your leadership skills and learn effective new ways to be a better leader in just two years. A professor with real ministry experience will guide you in applying your weekly homework assignments to your local ministry context and local ministers will join classes as guest speakers. The Leadership specialization is a direct, no-nonsense and effective way to become a better leader.
