Assistant Professor of Church History and Christian Ministry

Patrick teaches Church History and Theology classes at Asbury Theological Seminary, Wesley Seminary, and Indiana Wesleyan University. His special research interests include Charles and John Wesley and the History and Theology Methodism and the Holiness Movement.

Patrick has served as a Senior Pastor for over ten years and has been teaching in various roles since 2007.

Personal Information

Patrick is married to Ruth who works in the nursing department at IWU and has three children and three grandchildren. He likes to play Racquetball, Softball, and Frisbee golf. His favorite Sports teams are the Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs. He likes to garden and has a real heart for the Marion community and is involved in ministries which work with people in need.
