As Dean of Wesley Seminary at IWU, I welcome you to explore this site and see whether God might be calling you to tool, retool or deepen your Christian life and ministry through the academic and spiritual opportunities God has graciously allowed us to provide as a learning community of faith. Whether you are beginning to sense God’s call to ministry and want to investigate further, or you want to move to the next level in your current ministry, we are committed to do everything we can to make it happen.

It would be hard to express the great privilege I have personally felt to be a part of this bold new venture in seminary education. M.A. courses have been designed like a weekly pit stop to recharge and refuel while you are on the go in the race of faith. God has enabled us to design our M.Div. courses in the spirit of Acts 2:42-47. Gifted individuals in Bible, theology, church history and the practice of ministry have all sat down together and woven together theory and practice in a curriculum designed to be carried out in ministry. Academic turf and scholarly arrogance are anathema. We are pilgrims on the same journey with you.

I would be delighted to explore the possibilities with you!
