12Stone® Church - Master of Arts in Ministry
Ministerial Leadership (36 credit hours)
A relevant, practical and affordable seminary degree offered through a cutting-edge partnership between 12Stone® Church and Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University.
You will have the opportunity to work on actual projects in your church, with mentoring by respected seminary professors and experienced ministry leaders from 12Stone®. This accessible program will get you working with a fellow group of ministry leaders toward kingdom impact.
During the year you will study mostly online, but each summer you will gather back at 12Stone® for a week of personal and spiritual development with your professors and 12Stone® pastors.

Admission Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or an institution accredited by the Association for Biblical Higher Education.
- A 2.5 minimum cumulative undergraduate grade-point average (GPA) from the baccalaureate degree-granting institution at which a minimum of 30 credit hours was completed.
- An official transcript from the baccalaureate degree granting institution at which a minimum of 30 credit hours was completed.
- Three recommendations completed on Wesley Seminary forms demonstrating moral character consistent with the principles and policies of Christian conduct at Indiana Wesleyan University.
- Submission of a type-written statement discussing the applicant’s ministry philosophy and personal goals in undertaking the graduate program (one to two pages, double-spaced).
Unclassified admission may be granted to applicants who do not wish or plan to become candidates for the master’s degree from Wesley Seminary at Indiana Wesleyan University, or who do not meet the above requirements. Such applicants must complete the unclassified application form and submit a copy of a transcript showing the conferred undergraduate baccalaureate degree. A maximum of 18 credit hours can be earned as an unclassified student.
Students wishing to change from unclassified to regular status must follow normal admission procedures and meet all stated admission requirements.
Graduation Requirements
- Degree requirements must be completed within six years of enrollment with a minimum grade of “C” in each course, and a minimum cumulative
GPA of 2.5.

Tuition and Fees
(Effective July 1, 2012, to June 30, 2013) Initial Deposit - $100
After all application materials have been submitted and evaluated, an applicant will receive notification advising of his/her acceptance status. Upon acceptance into the program, an initial deposit of $100 must be submitted to reserve a space in a class. The deposit must be submitted two weeks prior to the date of the first class or immediately after acceptance if there are less than two weeks before the first class. The deposit is applied to the cost of the program.

* A pastor is an individual who is employed a minimum of 12 hours per week in a ministry setting.
NOTE: Books are purchased separately by the student and are not included in the tuition and fees.
Payment
Costs are divided into several payments spread over the course of the program with the first tuition payment being due before the enrollment deadline.
Payment varies based on the number of credit hours and fees. A payment schedule will be provided upon start of program.
- Tuition and fees are fixed based upon the charges in effect upon enrollment in the core program.
- Costs listed above are effective for the core program. For elective courses, students will need to pay associated tuition, books and fees.
- A $50 charge will be assessed for any payment not received by the due date.
- A $15 charge will be assessed for each check returned for non-sufficient funds.
